1Acceptance of TermsBy accessing or using the Beyond Scale website (beyond-scale.com) or purchasing any Beyond Scale product or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the site or purchase any products.
2Who We AreBeyond Scale is owned and operated by Kelli Katsuren and Michiko Katsuren. We provide digital products, written reports, and consulting services for senior professionals navigating career transition and organizational change.
3Products and ServicesBeyond Scale offers the following categories of products and services:
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment is due at the time of purchase. Beyond Scale uses third-party payment processors and does not store payment card information on its servers. By completing a purchase, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
5Digital Product DeliveryThe Foundation Kit and eligible standalone digital products are delivered electronically. The Beyond Scale Library is accessed through a protected member account rather than through an expiring download link. A qualifying $495 Library purchase includes permanent access to The Library and the first year of The Signal. The Signal renews at the selected interval unless canceled. Canceling The Signal does not remove permanent Library access.
Annual Library purchases renew The Signal at $90 per year after the included first year. Quarterly Library purchases renew The Signal at $25 per quarter after the included first year. Standalone Signal access is available at $150 per year or $40 per quarter. The Signal continues until canceled. Cancellation prevents future renewal charges and ends Signal access at the conclusion of the paid term. Library access remains permanent where it was included with a qualifying Library purchase.
6Report EngagementsWritten Reports are produced following completion of an intake form. Production begins upon receipt of a completed intake. Delivery is within three business days of intake submission. The Report is delivered as a PDF to the email address provided at purchase. Beyond Scale reserves the right to request clarification on intake responses before beginning production.
7Consulting EngagementsConsulting and fractional engagements are governed by a separate written agreement executed between Beyond Scale and the client prior to the commencement of any work. These Terms of Service apply to the extent not superseded by that agreement.
8Intellectual PropertyAll content on the Beyond Scale website: including text, design, frameworks, documents, and other materials: is the intellectual property of Beyond Scale and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Digital products purchased from Beyond Scale are licensed for personal, non-commercial use by the individual purchaser. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, or share purchased materials with any third party without express written permission from Beyond Scale.
9DisclaimersBeyond Scale provides strategic resources, frameworks, and analysis for informational and planning purposes. Nothing on the Beyond Scale website or in any Beyond Scale product constitutes legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. Beyond Scale is not a law firm, financial advisory firm, or licensed counseling practice. For advice specific to your legal, financial, or tax situation, consult a licensed professional.
Beyond Scale does not guarantee any specific outcome from the use of its products or services. Results depend on individual circumstances, effort, and factors outside Beyond Scale's control.
10Limitation of LiabilityTo the fullest extent permitted by law, Beyond Scale and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Beyond Scale products or services. Beyond Scale's total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim.
11Governing LawThese Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12Changes to These TermsBeyond Scale reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site or products after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

5Payment ProcessingBeyond Scale uses third-party payment processors to handle transactions. Beyond Scale does not store or have access to your full payment card information. Payment processing is governed by the privacy policy of the applicable payment processor.

Beyond Scale's refund policy is designed to be fair to buyers while reflecting the nature of digital products and personally produced written engagements. Please read this policy before purchasing.
Digital Products: The Beyond Scale Library, SmartResume Suite, Foundation KitBecause digital products and protected Library access are made available immediately and cannot be returned, sales are final once files or Library materials have been accessed.
If you experience a technical issue that prevents access to your files or protected Library account, contact us at questions@beyond-scale.com within 14 days of purchase and we will resolve it promptly.
If you have not accessed your files or Library materials, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will evaluate the refund request on a case-by-case basis.
The SignalYou may cancel The Signal at any time to prevent future renewal charges. Signal access continues through the end of the paid term. A Signal cancellation does not remove permanent Library access. Requests concerning a renewal charge must be submitted within 14 days and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Written Reports: Transition Strategy Report, Strategic Assessment ReportReports are produced on a per-engagement basis using your specific intake responses. Refund eligibility depends on where the engagement stands:

How to Request a Refund
All refund requests should be directed to questions@beyond-scale.com with your name, the product purchased, the date of purchase, and a brief description of the issue. Beyond Scale will respond within two business days.
