NO NEW SIGNALS
Sample 02 · Sep 7–13, 2026
|
|
There were no new observations between September 7 and September 13 that met the standard for Signal relevance.
That does not mean nothing happened. It means the available evidence did not justify asking you to reassess your environment. Filtering out weak, isolated, or repetitive information is part of the value of The Signal.
Use the quiet week
A threshold is useful only if it excludes information that feels important but does not yet support action.
A recent Microsoft reporting change is a useful example. The company regrouped businesses to reflect how leadership said it was managing them. That is observable evidence of a changed management lens. By itself, however, it is not evidence of a workforce action, budget move, or role-level impact.
Why it does not clear the threshold alone
The observation identifies something to watch, but it does not establish deterioration or require a response. It becomes more meaningful if followed by changes in budget ownership, shared KPIs, executive accountability, staffing, or the treatment of previously separate capabilities.

Apply the threshold
Use this filter on something you encountered this week.
| OBSERVED |
What changed that you can state without interpretation? |
| INFERRED |
What conclusion are you adding, and what evidence would make it stronger? |
| THRESHOLD |
Does the evidence require action now, continued observation, or no response? |
Carry-forward
Continue watching for operating-model changes that alter how work is grouped, governed, measured, or delivered. A single indicator rarely answers the question. Convergence does.
Prompt for the week
What did I notice this week that deserves monitoring but not yet a conclusion?

The Signal helps you qualify organizational evidence and connect it to the Beyond Scale tools that apply. A quiet issue is evidence that the threshold is being used, not that the work stopped.
